To comply with Article I: Section D.(a) i. of the 11-4 agreement, engineers will submit all requests to move their vacation forward or backward up to 96 hours through the BLET Division 404 website (blet404.org). It is the engineer’s responsibility to have their request submitted in a timely manner so it can be handled in accordance with the agreement. When engineers select the “Advance/Defer Vacation” link on the homepage, they will be directed to a form that will include (name), (employee #), (email address), (phone #), (current scheduled vacation start date), (new scheduled vacation start date and time). The new agreement allows engineers to move their vacation start time up to 96 hours forward or backward, but the request needs to be received by CMS at least (7) days prior to the original scheduled start date.
Article I: Section D.(a) i. of the 11/4 Agreement states:
Engineers must notify CMS seven (7) days prior to the start of a scheduled week of vacation if they elect to move that vacation forward or backward. Failure to notify CMS seven (7) days prior will result in the vacation beginning of the Sunday scheduled. Requests to move vacation will be submitted by the Local Chairman or their designee by sending an email to [email protected].
