The Carrier has recently started deadheading crews on trains instead of by van. If this happens to you please note and e-mail the following to BLET Division 404 Legislative Representative Paul Lazzaretti ([email protected]), train symbol you were called for and on duty time, time and carrier officer who ordered you to deadhead by train back to originating terminal, train symbol of the train you deadheaded on, final tie-up time, and total HOS. We are going to handle this situation as a Hours of Service violation and possible safety concern so please be diligent and promptly get your information to Paul.
